The most common reason for this issue is that our install script could not determine your public network interface name during the installation.

If this is the case, then the simple fix is to input the interface name manually into the agent file.

To do so, please open the following file with your favourite text editor:

/etc/hetrixtools/hetrixtools.cfg

Find the following setting:

NetworkInterface

If our installer cannot find your public network interface name, the value for this setting should be empty or wrong.

Just set its value to the name of your public network interface and save the file changes.

If the ‘NetworkInterface’ is set correctly and you’re still having network usage collection issues, you should look into running the agent under the root username, as described in the following documentation article: https://docs.hetrixtools.com/run-server-monitor-agent-as-root/
