We’re posting this announcement publicly as well, however all of the affected users have already been emailed regarding these changes.
If you have not whitelisted our Uptime Monitoring IPs in your firewall, then no action is needed on your part, you can safely ignore the rest of this announcement.
However, if you did whitelist our IPs in your firewall, then please make the necessary adjustments to avoid false positive downtimes.
The following changes will take effect starting on April 15, 2021, but you can make the adjustments to your firewall at any point until then.
Nodes added:
- New York: 172.241.23.225
- San Francisco: 23.108.190.195
- Dallas: 172.241.24.83
- London: 23.106.61.94
- Frankfurt: 178.162.208.86
If you’re running CSF as your firewall, you can run the following commands in your terminal to make these changes:
csf -a 172.241.23.225 csf -a 23.108.190.195 csf -a 172.241.24.83 csf -a 23.106.61.94 csf -a 178.162.208.86

Please note that whitelisting our monitoring IPs in your firewall is not usually necessary, and it should only be done if you are monitoring a private server or if you’re experiencing monitoring issues otherwise.
